About Us
We are a CPA firm with a strong team assisting businesses with their tax compliance
requirements. We are distinguished not only by our proficiency but also by the unique journey
that brought us together.
Our narrative is woven from diverse global experiences. It starts in the varied landscapes of India and Nigeria where our founder, Vartika Satija was born and spent a significant part of her life before moving to Canada. Her journey, marked by determination and hard work, has molded us into the CPA firm we are today.

Outside of Accounting Practice
Vartika completed her Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting at the prestigious Sobeys
School of Business at Saint Mary’s university in Halifax. She then went on to earn her CPA
(Chartered Professional Accountant) designation in Alberta, paving the way for her profound
impact on the accounting and taxation sectors in Canada over several years.
But our story doesn't just revolve around her academic and professional achievements. It's also about our commitment to making a difference to the world.

For many years, Vartika travelled the globe, immersing herself in diverse cultures from India to
Nigeria to Guatemala to Rwanda. Her engagement with social causes took her to Rio Dulce,
Guatemala in 2016. There, she spent two months teaching English at a school dedicated to
providing education, nutrition, and health care to the vulnerable children of the region. She
continued this trend in 2017 to Kigali, Rwanda, volunteering for four months as an Audit
Volunteer with One Acre Fund, a non-profit that offers smallholder farmers access to
financing, training, high quality seeds and fertilizer, and market sales support.
In 2019, she volunteered as a big sister for ‘Big Brothers and Big Sisters’ in Calgary, Canada, contributing positively to the lives of young children. She also played a significant role in disaster management with the Red Cross from 2014 to 2021. Her support didn’t stop there, she’s also contributed to many humanitarian initiatives at “The Art of Living” organization in Calgary, Alberta.
In boardrooms, her leadership skills shone through. Between 2017 to 2021, she served as a treasurer for the Casa Guatemala organization. More recently, she served as the president for the entrepreneurial Chartered Professional Accountants of Calgary in 2022 and featured on prominent platforms like CPA Alberta's #TuesdayTaxTips.
In 2019, she volunteered as a big sister for ‘Big Brothers and Big Sisters’ in Calgary, Canada, contributing positively to the lives of young children. As a firm, we have conducted numerous seminars on Taxation, accounting and business advisory
topics at Alberta Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), ATB Financial, ATB entrepreneur centre,
Business link, Community Futures and many other prestigious organizations. We have also
played an instrumental role in promoting financial literacy via the CPA Canada Financial
Literacy program and have earned recognition on several platforms like The Global news-
Edmonton, Global news- Calgary, Capitalize magazine, Business Link etc.
Through all these experiences, one theme has consistently stood out – determination. Be it in her
personal life, where she explored her love for adventure and commitment to giving back, or her
professional life, where she sought to establish an accounting practice that genuinely supports the
business community, determination has been the driving force.
